British minister Richard Coekin will join the Dean of Sydney, Phillip Jensen, for a ‘proclamation and protest’ seminar at St Andrew’s Cathedral next month.
Mr Coekin had his licence reinstated by the Archbishop of Canterbury earlier this year after a row with the Bishop of Southwark, Tom Butler, stemming from divisions over homosexual clergy and the authority of the Bible.
The pastors will call on attendees to ‘stand firm when your faith is under fire’ at the inaugural Cathedral Spring Convention. It will be held on Saturday 16 September from 2pm to 5pm.
