Flurry of mission activity

Led by Archbishop Peter Jensen, the Connect 09 Committee met for the first time on November 13 to bed down details for the once-in-a-generation evangelistic initiative. Other members are (from left) Anglican Media’s new media officer Russell Powell, Jim Ramsay CEO of Evangelism Ministries, Connect 09 Director Andrew Nixon and Mission Executive Les Gray.
A week earlier, an intensive three-day planning retreat was held involving Sydney’s bishops and the other members of the Mission Board to design the broader Connect 09 blueprint. A more complete plan will be launched in the February edition of SC, which will also include further analysis from our team of experts.
