A Sydney Presbyterian minister who claims death threats have been made against him and his family has appealed for help on Anglican Media’s website.

The Rev Fayek Iskander, 51, said the threats were made after he stood up to protest against the promotion of Islam at an interfaith dialogue meeting in Campsie on May 4. “I am now living under a real threat and I am seeking my and my family’s safety,” Mr Iskander said in the statement, which a colleague posted on http://www.sydneyanglicans.net. The matter is before the courts.
