What is a widget?
A widget is a small program run by the Mac OS X Dashboard or the Yahoo! Widgets Engine. Dashboard is only available on Macintosh computers, while the Yahoo! Widget Engine is available for both Windows and Macintosh platforms*.
A desktop widget typically provides easy access to frequently used functions or provides some visual information. On Yahoo! Widget Engine site you can choose over 1000 small widgets free to download.
How to install the widget?
1) Download and install the Yahoo! Widgets Engine for your Windows OS* computer.
