A new Province of NSW website has been posted on the Anglican Media Sydney website.
This will allow visitors to the Anglican Media Sydney website to visit the individual diocesan sites in NSW to inform themselves about the bishops and diocesan staff, and the activities, events and news from the NSW dioceses.
The NSW Provincial Synod, held every five years, will meet on 30th - 31st August this year at the Merroo Conference Centre, Kurrajong outside of Sydney. News, information and addresses from the Provincial Synod will be posted on this site.
News and media releases from the seven dioceses will also be posted regularly on the Provincial site.
The Provincial site may be visited at www.anglicanmediasydney.asn.au/nsw/
“This venture is an exciting way to provide news and information about the dioceses of the Province of NSW,” said Dr Philip Selden, NSW Provincial Registrar.
“There is an increasing number of visitors to the Anglican Media Sydney website, some 30,000, and often more, every month. A significant percentage of them are from overseas. These new NSW links will introduce those visitors to the life of all the dioceses of the Province. We are pleased that an entity of the Diocese of Sydney is able to serve our colleagues in the Province in this way,” Dr Selden said.
