A Memorial Service to honour the life of H M Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother will be held in St Andrew’s Cathedral, George Street, Sydney on Tuesday 9th April at 11.30am.
The Most Rev Peter Jensen, Archbishop of Sydney will preach the sermon and the service will be led by the Acting Dean of the Cathedral, Archbishop Harry Goodhew.
The Governor-General, Dr Peter Hollingworth will be present at the service and will read the lesson. The Cathedral Choir will be singing.
Members of the public are invited to attend.
Media are permitted to film, record and photograph the service. Those attending should advise Anglican Media on Ph 9265 1507 by early morning 9th April.
