How many times have you been preparing a talk and thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be good if we had a video of such-and-such to show first, just to set the mood?’

Most speculations like this tend to end one of two ways:

a) You end up showing a clip from a secular movie or television show that almost gets across what you want to say; or

b) You give up and go back to drawing diagrams on a chalkboard because the idea is too hard to carry off.

Zero G TV is a DVD that provides ministry workers with rich, Christian media content without all of the pain normally associated with producing or locating material yourself.

It contains 18 mini movies, radio plays, TVC’s, Vox Pops and cartoons that are ideal thought provokers and discussion starters.

Producers Total Visual Solutions have assembled a number of leading Christian animators, actors and film makers to create this series of easily adaptable video illustrations.

Topics range from specific passages like the Parable of the Tenants and Romans 1 to more esoteric ideas like the tragedy of war and what it means to love.

Films include dramatic productions, collections of historical footage and computer animations aimed at a range of audiences.

The unifying factor is that these short films are all produced with the Christian faith in mind, so there is less likelihood of conveying the sort of ‘mixed messages’ secular material can contain.

Zero G TV volume 1 includes:

The Movie Channel
The Tenants – a modern day adaptation of the parable of the tenants
Anniversary – An edgy drama where cryptic messages appear, provoking thought about what is really important.
And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda – A poignant presentation about the tragedy of war.
The Doctor – A patient has been diagnosed with a terminal case of Christianity
In the Kitchen with Aunty Emma – Creation or evolution? A recipe for humour
Strengths and Weakness – people talk about where their strengths and weaknesses lie
