Hi guys,

This morning I upgraded the forum software to the latest version, broke a few things in the process, fixed most of them (sorry if you were getting errors etc) and there’s just one thing left to fix. There’s a bug which is stopping the pages fully rendering, so your browser might only show 1/2 the page. This might happen once every 5 pages or so, and a simple refresh (f5) should fix it. Its pretty annoying I know, and I’ll try and sort it out today, if not I’ll roll back to the prev version.

Update: It seems like this is a server or an internal problem, not a bug with the forums, so I’ll test things out at home - hopefully its just a problem here. Let me know if you’ve experienced the same prob.

Luke, it seem’s that when you click on a users name to see their “bio” when beside their postings, the screen comes up saying “sorry that user doesn’t exist”
It works oK on the main page though.

Nunc, I’ve turned them off by default, and I should really edit out the “View emoticons” links from the reply page. They’re cute, and on 90% of other boards their appropriate, but I just felt little cartoon smilies might be a bit out of place here when discussing the intricacies of the faith.

Plain old text smilies are fine though :)
