Every Sunday my church has a preacher who offers prayers for the world beset by all sorts of difficulties.
The AB in his column in the “SOuthern Cross” for November has an excellent article advicing on what can be achieved by the faithful as their duty towards fixing world global ailments. Recently here, a poster, probably A.o. ,said science and religion should work together to help the world.
\ Last week “ New Scientist” illustrated the global financial crisis on its front cover. The cartoon said it all. No need to “round up all the usual suspects” so that anyone reading the daily media would’t have a clue what the problem was or how to fix it. A bit like the media with the Holocaust. Is it true? Did it happen? Or is it some sort of Holy Pizza.
Science and Religion both have only ONE course to follow. Science from ONE truth through evidence and reasoning. Religion from ONE God through faith.
Both abilities given to mankind(or perkind) and only mankind by a loving God in the genes God created.
