I have just read on the ACL web site that Rowan Williams is to preach at an international Mass for Christian Unity at Lourdes. That a layman is not allowed according to Canon law to preach at Mass, perplexes me.

However as Doctor Williams is even worse, having never repented of his pro-homosexual writings and having expressed other anti- Christian ideas.

He also blessed the registry office marriage of the heir to the throne to his Mistress.He graciously received Bishop Robinson at Lambeth Palace. As Bishop of Monmouth he ordained openly homosexual people.

Indeed after Gafcon, he said there was nothing in the Declaration which he didn’t believe and there he is going to Lourdes where the Virgin Mary is invoked big style...in direct contrdiction to the articles of religion.

It made me feel sick and I go to work with a heavy heart.( “Be angry and sin not.”...I keep telling myself0

I suppose the equivialent for you, would be to wake up and hear that Dean Jensen had invited Gene Robinson tp preach at St Andrews. Thats how I feel...and I can’t understand why Cardinal Kaspar (always risque) has not been booted oiut by the Pope.

Meanwhile in California the Episcopal bishops ( in full communion with Williams ) are campaigning for gay marriage and the Catholic bishops are campaigning agianist this. I suppose this is what the ecumenists call joint mission..

Leaving aside all the other issues you raise (not because they are irrelevant) the starting question has to be: What is he doing participating in ANY kind of Mass?  So on this matter it appears that we are agreed! :-)

As usual , you hit the nail on the head with precision, Bob......either te Mass is what it claims it is, the fulfilment of the prophecy of Malachi of the clean oblation offered by the Gentiles or it is an abomination and blasphemy.
