I have decided to return to Uni to do a Bachelor of Teaching / Bachelor of Arts, with a minor in Theology.  [4 years more study!  Argh! ;-)]

The major is the sticking point.  I am one of those weird people who are equally adept at science and humanities, and I am struggling to work out what I should major in [Maths or English/History].  As well as what I like, I need to also consider future employment: I can do Computing as I have a Comp Sci. degree, but I’d like to move into another area.

I realise this is not the most important of issues in today’s world, but I would appreciate any prayers.

Father God I ask for you to give Ian a gift of wisdom in this area of your will for his life, I ask that you will give him an increased burden to do, and passion to do what it is you would have him study and major in, I ask that you would take away from Ian any passion and interest to study any thing you don’t want him to do.

Father I ask that you will guide him and make your will clearly known to him, in any way Ian is receptive to hearing you, Father I ask that all the other voices that are clamouring to be heard and can interfere in deciding your will, that they be stilled and quieted.

Lord I ask that you give Ian the gift of faith to know your will, I ask that you help in any area of unbelief, and I ask that he will not doubt that you will answer his asking for wisdom and be tossed aroud in the waves of unbelief.

This I ask you Father in your sons name, through your Holy Spirit
