I’d like to propose a topic of prayer that is centred around those brothers and sisters of Christ who are being mislead by false teachers and prophets. Obviously these people who are being preached to wouldn’t be aware of the false teaching unless they had some other context to base their judgement on. Let us pray for these souls that God may put seeds into their hearts and minds to ask the questions needed to make sure that they are learning the real truth.

After watching a small portion of a sermon being preached by a pastor referencing the KJV bible, I felt troubled and saddened that there are people who are being mislead. There are many other instances of this both in Christian churches and also cults that proclaim to be Christ-centred but I truly not.

Yes, we should pray for all Jesus’ followers to know more of God’s will with spiritual wisdom, similar to Paul’s prayer for the Colossians:

Colossians 1:9 :
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,
