but you still need to mix the letters up - all you’ve done is reverse the spelling.
Thus:

Of course, if we keep this up we’ll probably crack some Bible code that proves that Craig Bennett really is a prophet - and that he lived in Old Testament times!

I cannot believe this thread reached 2 pages in three hours.
I feel like I am back at school- my friends could all speak and understand pig-latin (is that what it is called? Where you changed the vowels or something?). I could never get it and so missed out on much important, top secret information (like what John had said to Angela about Mary’s older cousin Samantha at the blue light disco last Friday night).
PS. Warren- got to admit though, I also was wondering the implications on bible translations. I don’t think Matt was taking the thread overly seriously- just trying to work out the implications you had in mind.
I thought of an implication only after Matt asked the question! I honestly just wrote something for the sake of starting a fun thread. I don’t think any thread I’ve started has ever had this sort of reaction, which is kind of disappointing given some of my other topics have included living out the faith at work, why I believe in God, etc. Oh, well - if I’ve helped to relieve a dull Friday afternoon, then that is something I suppose.
Craig,
thanks brother! When everyone else meets you at the picnic they’ll know what I’m talking about a whole lot better.

*very amused* Of csuroe - alaltucy I tghhuot Werarn may hvae seen ptteonail for fehtrur anmeesumt in sunoitlaceps of tihs nrutae. I gseus not!
What else? Did you think I was going to write you a Graham Goldsworthy-esque rebuke about bible translation (a la Aussie Bible)??? :-)
This particular topic is getting very boring now, I am having trouble de-cyphering the many replies. I do not think much more humour can be added, that will further this cause.
Seriously though, why, (can anyone answer me *sigh, grunt*? ) why don’t websites, or email sites, give contributors spell/grammar checks like eg.microsoft word? I have to manually check my Anglicanmedia letters, which takes up much of my precious time!!
Have I missed something? Are these facilities on this webiste, have actually not been able to see them?
2 Timothy 3:1-9 (I don’t know if this is relevant?)

Well, you can always do what I generally do - write your responses in Word. I do this if I want to write a serious response as I can draft and edit it easily. Then when I’m happy with it, I just copy and paste. Just spell check before you post!
Han (about to go and look up 2 Timothy 3:1-9 then go to bed...)
