I thought facebook users might be interested in a quiz I’ve created located here which is composed entirely of what the various Bible translations say about themselves, but do you know which one is which?

I haven’t always used the slogans associated with each version, by the way, but have quoted each translation’s own statement on its own distinctiveness.

But what will happen as oil extraction actually slows down each and every year after the peak? Put simply, the economic consequences will be catastrophic. It will be like the 1970’s oil crisis, but this time it is here to stay.

Or will you leave it up to the votes at this church “Council”?

Fortunately, after a shaky start in the voting, the Holy Spirit seems to be guiding now (John 16:13).....8-)

Sorry Terry. If the thread is no longer in the latest discussions list, I can’t find it and I forget all about it!
Fifty million Frenchmen can be wrong, but in this instance, the majority are correct, notwithstanding my typo.

I have a copy of the Contemporary English Version, published in Indonesia, which is a special Australian edition and my copy of the Good News Translation, purchased in a set for Blaxland High School ISCF is an Australian edition. My wife and her mother were given a copy each of the GNT, Australian edition when they became Australian citizens in 1992.
