Being one half of the “Social Committee”, it is my pleasure to post this prayer request as suggested by Jason. Whether you are coming to our picnic or not, it would be great to have prayers for:

The picnic organisers,
The picnic attendees,
People who would like to come but can’t, or choose not to,
For safety as we all travel, and
That our fellowship is edifying, encouraging and glorifying to God.

Thank you everyone, and thank you for your enthusiasm and support of the idea :)

O God, our rest and our redeemer,
give us times of refreshment and peace at this picnic being organised
to rebuild our bodies and renew our minds,
and to enjoy the company of each other when we meet for the first time.
Bless those who are organising the event
And give us safe travel there and back to our homes.
