I’m definately the last.

I think the prize goes to me for being the last person on to this topic.
In fact I always seem to be behind the eight ball so to speak.

My name is Mike Jolly 23 yo
I reside in sunny (presently) beautiful Hobart Tasmania.
I’m a full time student at the University of Tasmania studying a post grad Bachelor of Teaching. I’ve been on prac for the last 4 weeks and haven’t been able log on let alone post.

I’m engaged to the lovely Ebonee and we’ll be married next year.

I go to the most awesome church (In my humble opinion) in Hobart called Crossroads. If anyone comes to Hobart come and visit.  For you MTS and Club 5 inclined people things are exploding down here as far as this goes with tonnes of people who want to do MTS but not enough money to employ them. ARRRRRRRRRRRGH

Anyway I’ve been a Christian for about 4 years and despite struggles and difficulties I reckon its the best thing in the world.  I’ve just got to convince my friends.

The other not so important stuff about me is that I’m a mountain bike rider, I’ve just moved house and I luv fixing things. Oh and I can’t spell (But I have 1 nearly two Uni degrees… hmmmmm). Finally I am the last person to post.

Just quietly I noticed that many computer guys seem to do the most posting… is there some kind of conspiracy here…

Should I get into the IT industry to keep up with posting on forums. ;)

No please reply I just was pointing out that I’m usually the last in line… :)

Hey - have just noticed this thread. YAY!

Unfortunately, it is just another evil attempt (along with the Forums Picnic) to get us to divulge our identies to the world ... you aren’t getting me that easily!

Well, I’m minorbob.
28 years old.
Engaged for the last 93 hours to the most wonderful girl!! Praise be to God for the wonders of his creation!
Was brought up Jehovah’s Witness, but by the wonder of God’s love, I’m now a Christian.
... precisely a catholic evangelical Anglican currently doing catechetical work in a parish on the north shore (as well as holding down a full time job. I also work full-time in Sydney CBD).
... and (two mornings a week) a scripture teacher.

Currently enjoying:
God. His grace. The beauty of my fiancée. The blessings of life in a free country in the western world. Spring. The Book of Common Prayer. A family who love me despite our differences. Bach.

That’s about all for the mo.

Pax,
minorbob

Why would we use this when google is so much easier?

Amazing...why would someone concerned to keep his identity private splash it all over the WWW?

...unless of course www.minorbob.net boasts a completely different Christian, engaged, 28 year old in Sydney with a fondness for good music… possible…

Heh heh - the number of people who have arrived at my website via a search engine query for minorbob has jumped to 8 from zero a couple of days ago… you bunch of stalkers, you!

Thanks for the congrats, Ian. I was really impressed with the church website you designed as well… easily one of the best church websites I have ever seen!

Well, I am off to change my name by deed poll and start a new life with a new identity somewhere completely remote! Hopefully I can make it to the airport with my new forged passport before the ‘bovver boys’ from ACL catch up with me! ;)

But minorbob, now that you’ve been dragged out of the closet, won’t you come to the picnic and bring your beautiful fiancee?

I can talk Vaughan Williams recordings with you…

Hmmm - not sure about that, Matthew. I would like to, but the place is likely to be littered with Moore College types, ACL members and the odd Jensen or two ... I don’t know if I want to risk taking her into that kind of environment!  :p

Well, I will talk it over with her, anyway.  It might be worth it, to be able to discuss RVW recordings.

You make it sounds as though we have the plague ;)

Although, to be honest with the amount of coughing, spluttering and sneezing I am doing at the moment I wouldn’t blame you for thinking so!

Of course it is worth it, minorbob - and Nunc will be there too (living and breathing real church music at the moment), so we can form a little clique, and of course I’m a very nice person and worth getting to know (umm… Dani? Luke? back me up here...)

Hmmmm.

I guess I should offer my endorsement… although I do have some reservations - namely the fact that he has never seen Anne of Green Gables, Pride & Predjudice or Ferris Bueller. It’s a gaping hole in his education that we hope to see rectified very soon.
