If you haven’t read Craig Schwarze’s excellent book review of Paulo Coelho’s latest novel The Witch Of Portobello you ought to.

Author Paulo Coelho actually read the review and sent comments to Craig. We have published these at the end of the review for your interest.

Well done, Craig! Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I hadn’t read it, but have now. Craig did raise some very thought provoking points too. Anyhow, I agree, it was an excellent review. Well done Craig!

ps: One trivial observation - isn’t “compelling and attractive” a tautology?

I believe I am a compelling person. But I would never call myself attractive.
So ... no, it’s not.
;-P
Craig, could you confirm this?

What, whether you are attractive or not?? I wouldn’t dare have an opinion...we’d be better of asking some females of your aquaintance…

But your sophistry is neither compelling nor attractive. ;-)

Great Review, Craig.

I don’t tend to read this stuff, but it’s good to get a rough idea of what it is about.
