My mother, Lesley, has just been admitted to hospital. She suffers from very poor health and has many problems over the years. About two months ago, she went to the Dr with a sore on her leg. Despite all sorts of treatment, it has worsened. Her leg is badly ulcerated; she went to the after-hours clinic at the local hosptial on Sunday; then her own GP on Monday got her into a specialist this afternoon. He put her straight into hospital for bed-rest and intravenous antibiotics. Our very real fear is that if this doesn’t improve soon she may lose her leg.
Please pray for her. And her medical staff. And especially for my dad, Ken, who really does not cope well when mum is away.
