Just wanted to ask if you would pray for a Kids Club I am involved with over the next week.

This will be the 6th year of the Tambar Springs Kids Club which is a holiday program run by members of my church at another Anglican church in a rural community in North-West NSW. It’s the highlight of the year for the kids up there- a chance for fun, games, craft, drama and for a lot of them it’s a great time for friendships and love which aren’t otherwise experienced.

I would love for you to pray for a number of things:
* That God’s Spirit would be at work in the community of Tambar Springs- bringing God’s grace, love and compassion and breaking cycles of injustice, guilt and sin.

* That those of us running the kid’s club would be as Jesus to the kids we meet and their families

* That those of us from Sydney who are spending time at Tambar would be transformed by the experience- that we would learn more about our God, that we would learn what it means to serve, that our eyes would be opened to how richly blessed we are in our home parish.

If you can think of anything else you think would be appropriate to pray, or if you feel led to pray anything-then I’d love that too!

Cheers and many thanks,
Bec :)

P.S. If you’re curious about the Kids Club then there are some pics and info at http://www.tambar.go.to

Will do, Bec. I pray that it is a great time, beneficial both for the people you minister to and for your team. Keep us posted on prayerpoints and let us know how it goes!

Father I ask for your hand to be over all that is done with this kid’s club, i ask for fruitfullness and effectiveness of ministry, that the right ministers will be raised up to minister to the kids, that they will be gentle and soft with speech with the kids, that the kids involved will sense the authority of God over the lives of those ministering and will respect that, I pray that you will stir up and impart needed gifts to those involved and above all Lord I ask that the kids invovled will know that they are greatly loved by those ministering and by you, thank you Father, amen

Thanks for your prayers.

Our team has returned home safely and we were certainly able to see God at work in the last week.
