Hi everyone,

Just thought it might be useful to post a study I recently completed as part of my honours years. It is based on a survey of short term mission volunteers of Scripture Union.

Some key points the study examined include:
- characteristics of mission volunteers
- structure of the mission by procedural justice and shared leadership
- motivations for mission
- personal confidence levels in evangelism
- internal and external barriers to participation
- suggestions/new ideas for mission from the respondents
- resolving five strategic mission questions from Scripture Union

The study was designed to be generalised to other Christian short term mission volunteer groups apart from those for Scripture Union.
