On trying to upload a photo to Viewfinder on this site, I now get a critical error, with this message:

PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed

But this can’t be right, because I have already uploaded 3 photos from my computer, and it worked then.

(My photos were uploaded when SA forums were still on the old server.)

Can anyone help?

Yep, I just had the same problem

Sounds like SA needs to get PHP recompiled with GD support or find a shared library version of GD as a PHP module. The latter is the easiest, it just needs them to install php-gd-??? for their distro and restart the web server. The precise instructions depend on the linux distro they’re using on their server.

I notice no new photos have been loaded into Viewfinder since October 17.

I just tried to load a photo using Opera, and then using an old version of Internet Explorer. It didn’t work.

Have others had problems? The absence of new photos suggests a difficulty.
