On the Door-knocking thread, there was the following:

Craig Schwarze - 07 August 2008 01:59 PM

If no-one answered, we slipped the churches (sic) business card under the door

and

Kevin Goddard - 07 August 2008 03:32 PM

I also wonder if an ( A6 sized ) postcard with brief details of activities as well as church times - and a map - might communicate a bit more information. We’re just looking afresh at our printed materials - and are considering this approach. It would be interesting to hear of any feedback from what other churches have tried.

Like Kevin, I’m keen to see what other printed materials other churches use and see the material itself!

As a starter, we have just begun using business/calling cards and I’ll link to the card that we have just had printed.

I’d love to see what material you use as a welcome or introduction, or any other material. I’m not thinking of weekly news sheets, but if you think that yours is outstanding, I think that it would be good to post a few images or pdf of that, too.

Here are the ‘front’ and ‘back’ of our cards.

Looking forward to seeing what other material is being used and possibly ‘sharing’ some resources and ideas.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew
I love the description of the 8:00am service as ‘Classic Church’!  And what a great picture on the back.

Hi Bob,

I’m glad that you like the wording and picture on the card. “Traditional” really doesn’t appeal to me when describing church, so I had a long think about what I could put in there instead. My Rector liked it, too.

The picture was hard work! Rector chose the verse for the card, and I tried to think about how that would look.

Overall, I’m happy. Do you have any materials to share? (Do you need any designing done? :D )

Anyone else with printed materials to share? Please?

Cheers,
Andrew
