Hi everyone,

One of my work colleagues (and friends), who I work very closely with, went home sick yesterday.  He collapsed on his way home and was taken to hospital, where an MRI scan revealed a brain lesion the size of a small lemon.  He now in hospital awaiting surgery which is expected in the next 4-5 days.

Please pray for him, and also for his wife, who lost her father in the week before their wedding earlier this year and her sister a couple of weeks ago.

Neither my colleague or his wife are believers, however he is very interested in all things spiritual and we regularly discuss Christ, the Bible, spirituality etc.  Please pray for fruit to be borne even and particularly in this situation.

Please also pray for my work team - we’re a small group of about 8 and we are pretty close, and everyone’s just feeling pretty shattered by this news.

Many thanks, and God bless,

Nicole

PS I’ve deliberately not named him or his wife as while I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t mind being prayed for, I don’t have their permission to share their details.

PPS I’m going on leave and may not be able to update this thread with any news as it happens, but will do so as and if possible.

Yep, I will be praying. I hope God will open their hearts. And I also pray that you will know what to day to them.

Update: The lesion was confirmed yesterday to be a large, but low-grade brain tumour.  He is having his operation today.

Thanks for your prayers everyone, much appreciated.  He sent me an sms this morning saying that all prayers and love are being gratefully accepted :)
