And now for a selection of Christian books…

We’re looking for reviewers for:

1. Faith: it’s always been a matter of trust - Bryson Smith. In six short chapters Bryson takes us on a climb to look out at the magnificence of God and understand faith in all its glory.

2. The Wonderful World of CS Lewis’ Narnia: Prince Caspian - Linda and Robert Banks A Bible discussion guide for small groups built on three interactive studies and referencing the novel just as it is being released as a major film.

3. Not Under Bondage: Biblical Divorce for Abuse, Adultery and Desertion Written by a survivor of domestic abuse, this book explains the scriptural dilemmas of abuse victims; carefully examines the scriptures and scholarly research; and shows how the Bible sets victims of abuse free from bondage and guilt.

We’re looking for 250-350 words some time in the next month. Any takers, feel free to PM me with your postal address.

Hmm… that’s not working—it only sends me to my statistics. Could it be possible that newbies are not allowed to PM? Can someone maybe PM me so I can see what it looks like? Thanks!

Hi Pansy,

I’m afraid ‘Not under bondage’ and the CS Lewis Bible study are gone; but the Bryson Smith book on ‘Faith’ remains. However I can send you ‘The Other Queen’. If you’d like to send me a PM with your address I’ll mail it out with word length / deadline details.

Are you still having troubles with sending a PM? Click on my bolded name in this post - it should send you to a page with a stack of details about me. On the lower left is a ‘button’ with PM on it. Click on that and it will give you the screen you need to send a message.

Otherwise, you can get me at the newsroom-AT-sydneyanglicans.net address.
