What mission? The 10% one?

The key words that jump-started my teenage faith were from verse 12 of HEBREWS 5:

“You need milk, not solid food...”

I realised I needed to stop being an infant about God’s Word.

G’day Tia, There is always a mission going somewhere. I suppose Connect ‘09 is the one to watch and pray for. I’ll be surprised if it reaches 10% though. I like the second part of your verse .  It’s verse 14 in my bible.
“Solid food on the other hand is for adults,who THROUGH PRACTICE ARE ABLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL”.
Very challenging!

For me it was people who cared and didn’t push. Up until then, Christians were pushy and repelling (for me)

Gordon, Your option is a bit esoteric for me, but i’m sure many would respond to it. However you have prompted some midnight murmurs of my mind and have come up with another option. 
“Christianity is the thing to do, every one I know is doing it”
It’s probably the reason that I went to church in the first place, but not the most influential reason for active Christianity. Others may differ.

For me it was Martin Luther’s Two Kinds of Righteousness and Rom 5:8 which were the last steps - but there were countless other steps I knew nothing of on the way through and can only now see with the benefit of hindsight, which were primarily reading and hearing the word of God faithfully preached and taught.  I’m with Gill, I think we need an all of the above option - who can put it down to any one thing, really, when you think about the whole range of factors - but also with Gordon as it does all come down to being chosen before the foundation of the world.
