Sorry that I’m so far behind in reading this, but I just have to comment. That is a classic - a drowning man cheating death and has his faith in God profoundly affected - and published by Ark House!

Couldn’t stop laughing when I read that!

Sorry, folks.

I’ll crawl back into my hole now.

Greetings all,

For an update I am please (for me) and sorry to say (for you) that all of the previously posted religious books have been nabbed by budding reviewers. I do however have a new acquisition that I am looking for a reviewer for, and it is a stunner…

The Gospel & Personal Evangelism - Mark Dever
Mark Dever is the author of several books including Nine Marks of a Healthy Church and The Deliberate Church. He is held in high esteem by luminaries like J I Packer and John MacArthur. He writes on the entire process of personal evangelism from motivation to follow-up, and then some.

Any takers?

Before I review anything more I’d be interested to know where my reivew of “Deerhunting with Jesus” got to?

As I wrote in my review (and here is another plug for this book) every minister in the western and southern suburbs or in the country should read this book. So should everyone whothinks G W Bush is a good president -and those who think he is bad and wonder why he got elected.
