I think we need to define the difference between what a prophet may speak, and what prophecy is.
A prophet can preach a sermon, make an observation that may not have any specific reveltory information in it and it not be prophesy. I don’t think just because a prophet spoke it, we have to consider it as prophecy. On the other hand, Scripture would also suggest that any one can be annointed at times to prophesy, yet not be considered a prophet.
I think Christians experience a prophetic unction more often than we believe, such as in the role of prayer. How often do people have the burden to pray for someone in a specific manner, that in the natural they had no way of knowing to pray for that person / situation in that manner?
