I have a question. I was going to update my profile and indicate what church I currently attend. But there wasn’t an option to say “Other”. I am only shown a preset list of all the recognised church parishes within the Diocese of Sydney. So my first query is can “Other” be one of the options in that list?

This then leads me onto another thought regarding Church Plants.

If there is a new church plant within the boundaries of the Sydney Anglican Parishes.........

AND.....

it was started by a Sydney Anglican based church group........

THEN....

Question 1:
Is it always assumed that the church plant is attached to a local Anglican “mother” church?

Question 2:
Are there any church plants in the boundaries of Sydney Anglican Diocese that are not attached to a “Mother” church.

Question 3:
If there are church plants ‘goin it alone’....... are they still counted as part of the Sydney Anglican Diocese in their stats?

Actually we’ve just switched over to John Clarke on ABC - looking at dialects of people in Aussie slang Australia!

Maybe I’ll give my attention to that ..... (instead of doing the church email I’m supposed to be doing!)
