Aaah good people,
Your prayers would be welcome indeed.
My co-worker arrived this am upset.
No surprise as this is the “anniversary” week (what a despicable use of the word anniversary) of the death of her first husband only a few years ago.
It is also the “anniversary” week of the death of her new Mother In Law’s stillborn, many years ago.
Her sister in law gave birth to twins this last weekend and one has died.
The other is flown to Sydney to ensure its survival (God willing).

None of these people should, if the world were a just and good place- which it certainly is not, be suffering with pain piled on pain this week.
Travel mercies and blessings.
Comfort for bereavement and peace for all are my requests.

(if you can spare a thought for yours truly I would appreciate it too, it means I shall be on my tod and the place is feral as...)

Peace and thanks

Hi Owen,

I don’t have a lot of spare thoughts, but I am glad to pray for you and your survival. And to pray, too, for your overburdened co-worker.

Andrew
PS Can you modify a thread title and put the helpful [PR] in there?

G"day Owen,

I truly pray for all concerned, I pray your co-worker will truly allow herself to cry and grieve realising she can work while she does so.

I pray for her family, that others will gather around and help her with what ever help she needs.  I pray for the mum that she will be able to grieve for her child, without burdening and rejecting her other child, and that she will be able to allow herself to grieve whilst still caring for her child, without neglecting either.

I pray for the health of the surviving child, that he / she will grow into a healthy person, knowing the Lord.

Finally i pray for peace and love to prevail, that all will know the strength, wisdom and love of the Lord through out all this.

Owen theres a lot in life we dont (cant?) understand. But if life is to have any meaning (and we all hope it does) it is our hope in Christ that gives it one.

Praying for your workmate and her family.

Owen,

Thank you for sharing this tragedy with us so we can approach our good God and appeal to His mercies and compassion for all involved.

And all this has happened close to Easter, which speaks of the grief, the love and the triumph of God.

It is heart wrenchong to read. I hope you are OK and finding solace in our Lord Jesus.

The surviving baby is doing well.
The fear load is, I think, being relieved.
Grief and, organising a funeral while watching over an anxious new life is probably the current focus.

They have much to endure yet, but much to be grateful for as well.

Thanks be to our Father for love and life and care of young ones. For health, and sharing in suffering, for family and friends, and for the way that all this and much more played in keeping these folks going.
