The Foundation For Aged Care, established in 1984 as the charitable arm of Anglican Retirement Villages, plays an important role in raising funds to improve the quality of life for residents and clients. To date, it has contributed some $22 million and seeks to provide more.
“I don’t know what I’d do without my carers” is how Patricia, 73, sums up how much she appreciates the care given by ARV’s Western Sydney Community Services Team.
Larry Warton, the Village Manager at Donald Robinson Village Kirrawee, is clearly passionate about ‘his village’ and is impressed by the way residents go out of their way to care for each other when in need.
This week we focus on the journey of Marjorie, a resident who has found ARV's capacity to provide for her changing physical needs a real blessing.
Anglican Retirement villages will seek to work together in a manner that reflects God’s love, best demonstrated in the example of Jesus, in order to meet the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of our residents and community clients. This is our Christian witness.
